1This unique report briefly examines the different types of pressurised storage cylinder technologies commonly used in transport applications. Also summarised are the existing codes and standards that are applicable today. Finally, levels of storage cylinder damage from use and abuse are also examined. Of importance, the transport storage technologies described herein can also used for stationary applications. Therefore what would apply to transport could potentially also be applied to stationary systems. Ideas are also formulated for developments and projects.FreeNot for publication
